Similar to the Explorer tab, you can add new folders by tapping the folder icon with a plus sign, change how the data is sorted by tapping "Sorted by" at the top of the screen, and toggle between view types by tapping the Grid or List icons in the upper right. To the right of the Vault tab, you will see the Downloads tab. This tab is where files are downloaded to from the Explorer tab. If you press and hold on an item, you will see options to Share, Rename, Copy, Copy to Clipboard, Clone, Cut, and Delete. If you tap "Select" and select an item, you will see buttons at the bottom of the screen which, from left to right, allow you to Share, Copy, Cut, or Delete an item or multiple items. Storing files in your Vault makes accessing and managing them from your devices streamlined. This tab allows you a designated area to store files on your iOS device. To the right of the Server tab, you will see the Vault tab. In the bottom right corner, there is a blue "Edit" button which allows you to edit the name of the device in GoodSync, as well as other Server preferences. NOTE: For more information about how to utilize the server tab to transfer photos and data to and from your iOS device, click here. This is useful for situations where you may want to transfer photos to or from your iOS device. In the top right corner, you can tap "Photo access" to allow GoodSync Explorer access to some or all of your photos. When you see "Running" in green at the top of the screen, the iOS device has successfully connected. To start the server, press the blue "Start" button at the bottom of the page. To the right of the Explorer tab, you will see the Server tab. This tab allows you to utilize your iOS device as a server using GoodSync Connect. If you press and hold on an item, you will see options to Share, Download (this will add the item to your "Downloads" tab), Rename, Copy, Copy to Clipboard, Clone, Cut, and Delete. If you choose "Select" and select an item, you will see buttons at the bottom of the screen which, from left to right, allow you to Share, Download, Copy, Cut, or Delete an item or multiple items. You can also tap the 3 dots in the top right corner to see options to "Select" or "Decrypt folder." Through the Explorer tab, you can tap any of your connected accounts and will be taken to their respective file systems. If you tap the button in the upper right hand corner, you will see a list of supported account types which you can add to the Explorer tab, if you wish. This tab offers connections to GoodSync Connect and GoodSync Storage, by default. When you first open the GoodSync Explorer App for iOS, you will be on the Explorer tab. We highly recommend this file synchronization tool for all user levels.The GoodSync Explorer App for iOS allows you to utilize your iOS device with GoodSync Connect, store and manage your files, back up your device's data, and more. The program doesn't include a built-in help feature, but it does feature an online manual and FAQ through the publisher's Web site, and the 30-day trial is more than enough time to find your bearings. You can apply filters using the Program Options menu. We were able to view all of the changes, as well as any conflicts or errors. We were able to pick out the specific files to include in the synchronization and, using the Sync feature, we synced the folders so that they each contained the same files. The program quickly analyzed our folders and displayed their contents into two separate panels. We were even able to browse for files on external devices, including a USB thumb drive. All we had to do was browse for the two folders that we wanted to synchronize. To a novice, the user interface might appear a bit overwhelming however, step-by-step pop-up windows will quickly guide you through navigating the program. GoodSync successfully synchronized important files between folders on our computer, as well as on our USB device. Thanks to this program's step-by-step tips, managing your files and folders is as simple as a few clicks of your mouse.
